This was a week mixed with emotions of many sorts for the Buntings 5. Our dear friends from Terre Hill, PA arrived Sunday. Addison and Dana Waite, along with their 3 children, have been friends of ours since our first year living in Lancaster, PA...2005. Keith and Addison worked together at the car dealership and quickly found a Christian friend in one another...something you don't take lightly in the secular work force! Soon after, our two families got together and it's been a great match ever since!

When we first began talking about our move to Nassau, though saddened that we'd be leaving Lancaster County, Addison and Dana assured us that they would save for a family trip to come and visit us. And true to their word...they came!! What a blessing to have them here this past week...especially in light of the sad news we were about to receive.
Keith's dad has been battling Parkinson's disease for some time now, and after his mom's passing in December of 2012, we knew dad would probably begin slipping even more quickly. When you picture a man who loves his wife to the nth degree, you picture Paul Bunting. But this Wednesday morning, the Lord called him home to heaven. Though we were expecting him to pass away within a short time, we really didn't know how short. Keith was able to talk by phone with his dad this past Sunday. And that was the last time Paul was really coherent. Monday he went into a deep sleep and never truly awoke. I guess you could say he awoke to Jesus. A beautiful thought.

So as we grieve the loss of our dad and grandpa, we thank God for our kind friends who are here visiting. God always knows exactly what we need.
